Mo Goodfellow

Artist Profile

Mo Goodfellow is a lifelong performer and advocate for the arts. She is a graduate of Chapman University’s prestigious College of Performing Arts with a BFA in Dance as well as a BA in English Literature. Her artistic and professional goals work to combine her degrees in a career dedicated to arts innovation through performance, creation, and storytelling. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Mo has an intense passion for concert work, contact improvisation, and site-specific dance. A few of her most impactful mentors include Jennifer Backhaus of Backhausdance, Alice Klock and Florian Lochner of FLOCK, and David Harvey of LINES Contemporary Ballet. Mo is currently a company member with Backhausdance as well as Mackenzie Martin’s GEOMETRY Dance Company. Additionally, she has toured nationally with Kybele Dance Theater and performed in several festivals including MashUp Contemporary Dance Company’s International Women’s Day Dance Festival, the Capezio ACE Awards, and the Palm Desert Choreography Festival at the McCallum Theater. Her work last year as choreographer for Chance Theater’s production of RENT was nominated for an Orange Curtain Award and was her debut in the realm of musical theater. She is thrilled to be working with the Chance again this summer!
