Artist Profile
Shelby Monson was raised in the northwoods of Wisconsin where she developed her acute character and improv skills by howling to the wolves and evading outdoor recess in the wintertime. Since then, she has blossomed into a professional entertainer, performing at theme parks and musical theatre venues throughout the balmy Southern California area. Shelby earned a degree in dance from the University of California, Irvine and has been performing at the Disneyland Resort for 13 years. Currently, she can be seen dancing in Madame Leota’s Swingin’ Wake, Fantasmic!, and roller skating in the upcoming A Christmas Fantasy Parade. She has also performed at Knott’s Berry Farm, Legoland California Resort, The Queen Mary and the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. Favorite show credits include Chicago, Newsies, Spamalot and Mary Poppins. In her free time, Shelby still loves to explore the outdoors and befriend local spiders.
