How delightful to produce the summer musical again with James at the helm, after his award-winning production of Green Day’s American Idiot two years ago. Also exciting is welcoming back Lex and Mo, as music director and choreographer, respectively.
Despite Eddie’s general antipathy towards musicals, he does adore opera. Sweeney does have an operatic bent to much of the music, and our cast includes an actual opera singer as Judge Turpin and some operatic sopranos, as Joanna and the Beggar Woman.
