On the Cripe Stage…

Laugh, sing along, and discover what it really means to grow up with Avenue Q! This hilarious and heartfelt musical follows Princeton, a bright-eyed college graduate searching for his purpose in the big city. When he moves to a rundown apartment on Avenue Q, he meets a colorful group of neighbors—puppets and humans alike—who are all trying to navigate the challenges of adulthood, relationships, careers, and figuring out what they want from life.

Filled with outrageous humor, unforgettable characters, and a wildly entertaining score, Avenue Q takes a playful look at the realities of chasing your dreams in the real world. Beneath its clever puppetry and laugh-out-loud comedy is a surprisingly touching story about friendship, finding your place, and learning that life rarely turns out exactly as planned.

Avenue Q is a bold, irreverent, and joyous theatrical experience that proves growing up is messy, confusing, and sometimes absolutely hilarious. This is an unforgettable musical that reminds us we’re all just trying to find our way.

“For all its agreeably goofy humor, Avenue Q is something wiser and more meaningful than a simple spoof. The air is sweet in this neighborhood.”USA Today

“Of all the musicals hatched in the post-2000 age of irony, this cheeky satire has remained the freshest and funniest… showing no loss of heart.”Variety
